Wayne Mark Rooney, the all-time highest Manchester United and England goalscorer, bid his farewell to the pitch as a player on January 16th. Rooney later moved back to Everton where he played for 18-months before joining the MLS club DC United and finally returned back to England to join Derby as their Number 10. Throughout his career, Rooney has broken major records, scored un-believable goals, and achieved something every professional footballer dreams of.
As per Forbes’ 2020, Wayne Rooney’s net worth is around $170 million making him one of the wealthiest English footballers. He also has a lifetime contract with sporting giants Umbro and a $3.2 million managerial deal with Derby which might ensure a surge in his net worth in the near future as well.
