Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper, known professionally as Saweetie, is an American rapper and songwriter. She rose to fame with her maiden single “Icy Girl”. Currently, Saweetie is in a contract with Warner Records. Celebrities often enjoy a lavish lifestyle and many of them are guilty of showing off their prized possessions which signifies their success.
Like any other celebrity, Saweetie is used to a lavish lifestyle and high-standards of livelihood. However, one weird incident turned her actions into headlines. Her Instagram handle got flooded with hate comments from various followers and haters alike after she shared pictures of her private jet on 22nd Dec. As positive and mixed responses came up on the comment box, an Instagram page called ‘The Shade Room’ shared her video in which she is seen flaunting her newly acquired possession. This caused an outbreak of rash comments on social media. Many Instagram users were in a denial with the uploaded pictures as Saweetie is worth only $4 million, which is in no way enough money to afford a private jet.
Many people pointed fingers towards her boyfriend who has a brand value of $24 million and speculated that it would have been him who bought her the Jet. The hate comments reached a point where users started labeling the Rapper a Gold Digger. Losing her cool, the 26-year old replied back with some harsh replies as well.
